Brand Re-Design for Peace Paper Project
Course: Corporate Design and Branding at George Mason University, Fall 2023
Peace Paper Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals affected by trauma through the art of paper-making. For this re-design project I started with updating their logo and adding a symbol. I introduced a geometric, origami-inspired butterfly to symbolize transformation, healing, and resilience—key values of the organization. This new visual identity aimed to evoke a sense of hope and renewal while making a strong, memorable impression.
I developed a brand identity guideline manual to ensure consistency across all platforms and materials. The manual included detailed specifications for typography, color palettes, logo usage, and imagery. I also developed a suite of promotional materials, such as posters, advertisements, and branded items, to support the organization’s outreach efforts. These were all designed to align with the newly established aesthetic. The goal was to create a cohesive, professional brand presence that would resonate with both the participants and supporters of the Peace Paper Project, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to empowerment and creative healing.
